Octoberfest!!!!

WAHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! The crowd was overwhelming, the music was deafening, the anticipation high, and the atmosphere was merry. It was Octoberfest!!!! Haha and no I did not go to Germany to celebrate it, it was right here in 1 Utama. Held from the 27-29th October, it was really an event that one will always remember and hope for similiar repeats in the coming years.

Octoberfest kicked off with the selling of the cheap, Cheap, CHEAP 1 dollar beer which was actually the highlight of the entire event itself. Imagine ice cold imported German beer selling at only a fraction of the normal price and one may drink till his heart's content, while stock lasts la of course.
This was taken advantage by some greedy fucks who pushed and rushed through the queue like as if it was their last day on earth just for a stupid bottle of beer. I cannot deny that it is cheap and the quality of the beer is there, but the stocks are AMPLE so therefore there's no need to act barbaric over some savings. But BARBARIC they were. And in no time...in the span of about 30 minutes, 1000 bottles were snapped up, giving no chance for others to drink. Haih...the things people do for a promotion.

Haha and let's not forget the food. Sausages!!!! All sorts of them. And best of all....it's PORK. Haha Octoberfest is all about being non-halal and losing yourself a bit in a world of sin and pleasure. Although the food there may be good, but i would feel that the price is a little stiff, that being just sausages. And we're not talking about foot-long sausages anyway. Haha guess that's how these people take advantage of the situation. They sell you beer cheap, they POTONG you kau kau on the food. Ass fuckers.

And we were in for a treat this time around. Apart from the cheap beer, good food and some German performaces from a band, there was a motor show to parade around too. Haha beer, food, cars and girls. What could be better. All of this in the good month of October.

CHEERS!!!!! And remember kids, do not drink too much...or you might end up like this fella here.

Happy Deeparaya

I would like to take this opportunity to wish my hindu friends Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya to my Muslim friends. Not too often do we celebrate these joyous celebrations together at the same time. Do you know that the next time we'll be celebrating these 2 occasions together will be in the next 27 years? Haha fuck i would be 48 by then. Hopefully i'd be a father at that time.

I can still remember those time in the late 1990's when CNY was celebrated together with Hari Raya. Gongxi Raya eh? And then it was Christmas with Hari Raya. And now it's Deeparaya. In a few years time we'll be celebrating Hari Raya in the middle of the year. WTF man?!?! How can the new year of a certain calender be in the middle of another? Miscalculation? Haha either way, doesn't matter when it's celebrated, what matters is what it signifies. May the world be better place to live in as people come together to enjoy each other's culture and celebrations.
